Name Leslie RodriguezAbout My name is Leslie Rodriguez and in May 2008 I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Seton Hill University in the field of Journalism with a specific concentration on New Media. As a student at Seton Hill University I acted as the Sports Editor for the university’s newspaper the Setonian, and was also a contributing writer for Delmarva Youth Magazine. I completed three internships, two of which were at E-Magnify Women’s Business Center as an Internet Communications Intern. The third was as a Public Policy Intern for Seton Hill University President JoAnne Boyle. During my time at E-Magnify Women’s Business Center I was responsible for managing content, usability, and marketing for the organization’s website in keeping with the strategic direction of the center. I handled public relations between E-Magnify and external constituents, as well as created and distributed e-blasts and a weekly electronic newsletter. I also assisted the communications staff in developing and executing marketing projects and online initiatives for the center’s annual Building A World Class Business conference. I am currently employed by e-Management Consultants on site at the United States Department of Energy (DOE) as a Junior Program Support Specialist. I provide recommendations and consultations to DOE employees within the Environmental Management (EM) program. I also assist in managing and maintaining the Environmental Management Site Specific Advisory Board (EM SSAB) and the Environmental Management Advisory Board (EMAB). Most notably I have created an online publication entitled EM SSAB Perspectives that is distributed electronically to DOE sites in the field. Additionally I have extensive experience with Adobe CS3 design programs that include InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
